Williamson County, TN & 30A Florida Home Renovations & New Construction Projects
Serving all of Middle Tennessee including Nashville, Brentwood, Franklin as well as 30A Florida. Rebekah specializes in responding to each client’s needs to make their home or commercial property an absolutely amazing place. This includes existing homes that need refreshment, home renovation projects, as well as working as a liaison with builders, suppliers, contractors, and the client (home owner or buyer). Starting from the “ground up” or starting point of any project, Rebekah researches each client’s vision for the project and translates that into an easy-to-understand journey where the client interjects their preferences while having the stress off their shoulders.
For new builds and renovations, Rebekah helps everyone coordinate the selection of all the major finishes for the interior and exterior of the home. Interior finishes include:
- Paint and all wall finishes
- Lighting – sometimes including helping design the electrical plan and fixture placement
- Plumbing fixtures
- Flooring – carpet, wood, tile, stone
- Built-ins – design and placement
- Doors & windows
- Cabinet design, style, colors
- Countertops
- Sinks
- Appliances
- Tile – designing layouts, selecting patterns, grout colors – for kitchens, bathrooms, foyers, etc.
Exterior finish selections include:
- Brick & stone
- Paint colors
- Driveway and hardscape colors
- Porch & patio stone or tile
- Pool decking styles
- Outdoor kitchen components
- Exterior lighting & landscape lighting
It’s amazing how many decisions go into a build, and that can often be overwhelming to a home owner /buyer which can result in a home losing its theme and cohesive look. Most builders will agree that careful attention has to be given to ensure the final result maintains it’s centralized theme. The same can be said about a substantial renovation with many of the same components being selected just as in a new build. You’re investing in a very substantial project. Make sure the result is at the luxury level you’ve dreamed about.
Interior Design – Decor – Furnishings
Once a home renovation or build has been completed (or if the plan is to just refresh an existing home without major renovation), Rebekah continues working with clients to ensure their vision isn’t lost when it comes to finishing out the interior. Keep in mind that with the popularity of TV home shows, Pinterest, and all the photos on social media of homes that are virtually model homes, a LOT of effort goes into making those homes that caliber. You have probably known people who gradually acquire pieces of furniture and accessories throughout the years from various sources and the result is what may call a “hodgepodge” of furnishings that doesn’t stand a chance of complimenting all the effort you just put into your project. Rebekah advises clients on the front end that furnishings go a long way toward their goal, so planning for those on the front end should be a consideration. Just as with the project’s production (in a build or reno), Rebekah also serves as a liaison during the interior design and furnishing phase. That includes:
- Sourcing furniture, ordering, and scheduling deliveries
- Sourcing accessories including floor items, wall decor, rugs, and virtually everything else that finishes a room.
- Drapes and window coverings
- Custom wall applications & signs (sometimes more applicable to commercial clients)
It Begins With A Plan
The first step is an initial contact, description of project, and to also see that everyone’s a match to work together. Some of the success of any project is a “meeting of the minds” and that the personalities blend together. Discussion about the project, seeing the project site, and learning about the client allows Rebekah to design a plan that works most efficiently for everyone. Reach out to Rebekah using our contact form here, call, or text and she’ll be happy to advise on how to move forward.
